Details

The special feature of the Kuppadam saree is solid colour borders are woven by using single fly shuttle. The border warp is inter woven with the same colour of border weft and body warp is inter woven with same colour of body weft by a technique called “KUPPADAM” thus giving solid colour border and body . To add more beauty to saree,the border is ornamented with extra warp design by adopting dobby and pallow is also ornamented with extra weft figuring when use jacquard for this purpose .
