The Ponnur 60s tie and dye cotton Sarees are produced in Hasanamapettai Village in Thiruvannamalai District. It is produced with traditional tie and dye techniques in border and pallu. Geometrical motifs are used with bright color combinations and small extra weft buttas were used to ornament the saree. The pallu has an elaborate geometrical design.
