Marvella Associates is a handloom cum tourism unit a partnership firm established in Sept’19 based in Sualkuchi, mostly known this place is a Manchester of East . Marvella working closely with the weavers in their state-of-the-art 20-30 looms to develop design ideas, woven concept and colour stories since its inception. Besides Marvella also working closely with 3/4 weaver clusters in silk village Sualkuchi and its periphery.Assam has got Geographical Indication (GI) on muga silk. Muga silk is the pride of Assam. Our basic focus is to boost up Muga culture and hence to produce hand-woven Muga silk in abundance. In addition to magnificent Muga, Marvella is taking along lustrous Pat silk (mulberry), gorgeous Tussar silk, warm Eri silk and also ever green Cotton fabrics in its journey .
Marvella also collaborating weaving culture of the villagers with natural landscape and farm activities to give impetus of the development of Natural Silk Tourism in this region.
