Natural (Aal) Dyed Kotpad stole has been woven in Pit loom by the Tribal Communities located in Kotpad, Koraput, Odisha. This stole has been woven in coarser cotton with tribal design motifs. Aal dyed extract from the root bark of Aal Tree which gives deep reddish maroon shades. It is very fast to wash & this natral dyed technique only practice in Koraput district of Odisha, India.
