Palani Silk Tie & Dye Saree-Yellow

Palani Tie & Dye sarees are traditionally woven in and around Palani area in Dindigul District of Tamilnadu on pit loom and frame loom.  Silk of bright colours and artificial zari are used for the production of these sarees to get extraordinary lustre so as to give more richness than pure silk. These sarees are worn during auspicious occasions mostly in villages of Tamilnadu and also marketed in North India.
