The Shazar Stone is made using an ancient method involving a wooden bow and a thin steel wire called ‘Kaman.’ Mounted on a wooden stand known as ‘Khunta,’ the stone is sliced into thin pieces with silicon carbide powder. These slices, only 2 to 4 mm thick, are then meticulously designed, trimmed, shaped and polished by skilled artisans.
